I'm liking it so far, but that's only because the 2-pack version of the Asus RT-AX92U that landed on my doorstep yesterday supports AiMesh 2.0 in AP mode so I'm bias.

In router mode the AiMesh 2.0 performs really well also, but as it turned out in router mode only the first router can do IPTV so it didn't take long until I ran a factory reset and set them up as a pair of APs with AiMesh with wired backhaul and having nothing but a D-Link DGS-108 (unmanaged switch) hooked up between them. Everything is ground floor only, but the interior walls all are concrete brick ones, and, there's three of these walls (a small study room and an midsize entrance hall) between them so that the two routers are placed some 50 ft. apart. I am getting excellent coverage on every band. Thanks to the wired backhaul, the hand-off while roaming definitely is smooth with AiMesh. With the 160MHz option ticked, this kit delivers solid WiFi 6 performance, and it runs stable, too. In 2019 the firmware just wasn't ready yet. But it is now.
