Most functions of MyPhone have stopped working, because the ip address of the phone cannot be found, in order to make contact. WiFi seems OK for everything else. I have tried one or two fixes without success. The phone is next to the PC and less than 2 feet from the Hub

I can see the ip (in Fing) ...... what is meant by "is it in the same range as the wifi?" See above
My phone's ip is within that range. Could this be the cause of MPHONE's problem (and other messaging apps) --- I have started to notice the phone battery is draining virtually to zero before I check it and recharge. I am recharging now and will then see if the app finds the ip.

I have found that my messaging apps do find the ip address after the phone is charged, though not entirely reliably. Connection seems to be achieved only when the battery is charged to around 90%! Could it be this or is it just coincidence?
