I'm trying to setup a LAN connection from my android phone to my pc via solid explorer. The setup process requires my username and password, so I opened a command prompt to see what my windows user name is, and entered that, the password though is the problem.
I tried entering my windows live password but that failed and also tried the pin but also a fail. Where can I go in Windows to see what the current password is?

Do you have to enter a password to log into Windows? That's probably what the program wants. A PIN can be assigned for the login but it is associated with the password and won't work on other things
I have a program on church computer I need to uninstall but the user forgot her password, has to use the PIN and can't use it for the uninstall.
Is the setup using a Direct Wireless connection or working through the Router's Wireless/Wi-Fi?
