Help with my Win10's on a wired home network

    Yes, all 3 netbios are enabled

    @Hairy Scot has posted a fix that worked for me after upgrading to 20H2 and that PC being unable to access folders on a 1903 PC it could 'see' as an icon only, but not the folders - which it had been able to access when using build 1903.

    Thanks a lot for following up on my problem.

    I looked at what everyone posted and have decided that I have spent way to much time on this over the last 2 weeks without much of a solution. I have to get on with other things so I'm going to find a local tech to come in to fix this,

    That is a very quick one to try: simply open This PC in file explorer, rt click, click Add Network Location

    This works provided you have a way to refer to the target PC, and all basic settings are correct.
    However you may have a range of issues, and I note you don't even have an icon representing the target PC.
    I simply waited and did nothing more, having added myself to a particular thread. I got lucky!

    For networking with Win 7 you must enable SMB1 of course.
