OneDrive Personal Vault - accessing from Android device

I am trying to access my OneDrive Personal Vault using my Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.
Whatever I try I end up with a screen telling me to create a Personal Vault, rather than opening the existing one, which was in fact the 'starting point'.

    Steps taken:
    - sign in using my Outlook account
    - select verification method (send a code to my gmail account)
    - paste that into the verification screen

After clicking [Verify] I get this "Create a Personal Vault"-screen.

    Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if Microsoft did some type of update or not, but I had to do the same to get into Vault from my Samsung Galaxy Note 20.

BTW got the same procedure when trying to enter Vault from my PC, but canceled the procedure and tried the phone. Anyway, followed the procedures and created a new 6-digit pin. All is good now. Though I now have it setup to use biometrics to open from my phone.

Also running Office 365, also have a school exchange account, but I use my personal OneDrive Vault account.

Frankly, I thought it had something to do with Authenticator, but it has not.

The 'alarming' thing of this all is that, when worst comes to worst and you indeed -need- to access the Personal Vault using an Android device, whilst being on vacation or something, i.e. not comfortably at home, behind your Windows 10 desktop, then...
you are lost: the PV can not be accessed.

That's to say, that is my situation.

    I tried over and over.

I simply followed the steps and don't see where I went wrong.

As I said, I got the same thing you got.

I can access my OneDrive, and thus Vault anytime I want on my Android device even when I'm not on my home network. If you have a mobile plan (cell phone service) that shouldn't be an issue.

As a test, I disconnected my Wi-Fi service from my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and only using my mobile service, I was able to open both OneDrive and Vault without issue. Not clear on what your talking about here? Do you have the OneDrive mobile app on your phone?

I am using the Onedrive app on my smarphone to try and access my Personal Vault. OneDrive is no problem, just the Personal Vault within it.

Well we have different experiences. Yeah, I had to go through the same initial procedure as you did, but after that things work as they should... even when I'm not on my home network. Don't know why you have a different experience there.

    Good luck.
