Cannot share files, folders or drives in Network (in Explorer)

Even though I am the administrator for my laptop an pc which are networked via ethernet I am refused permission to share files, folders or drives. That is is in spite of the fact that I have connected the drives, and created the folders and files.
I have enabled sharing for all drives but cannot access files on my laptop from my pc.
    Please help!!
    Thank you.

What are you seeing on your desktop PC? Can you even see the laptop in Network?

    Here is what I see...

On my desktop DarkMatter I see this. My laptop is EventHorizon

If I double-click on the icon for Eventhorizon it opens and shows its shared folder. Cannot share files, folders or drives in Network (in Explorer)-2021_04_06_06_33_132.jpg

Hi, you might find this useful:
Give access to Context Menu - Add or Remove in Windows 10

Please post a screenshot showing what happens when you try to share something so we can see what you're doing.

If you need to capture a dialogue that disappears when you click elsewhere, you can used the PrtSc key if you have one, or the timed feature of Snip & Sketch for example.

Considering configuring networking generally, this is the starting point:
Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10

Option 2 includes aspects related to granting permissions.

Do Properties/Security on the troublesome drive, there, select "Administrators" and "Users". Then check the permissions in the list below. If the "Full control" and "Modify" are not selected, then edit each and checkmark for full control.
I have noticed this in the last few beta builds

In Explorer navigate to the desired folder/file. Once there click on the folder/file to select it then right click on it and select Properties. Next click on the Sharing tab, locate the Share button and click it. Follow the prompts to designate who to share with.
