    Did you try to download files via PowerShell before installing your VPN after clean installing Windows 10?

    i've downloaded the gif you sent with PowerShell. Now i'm trying to download a larger file.

    EDIT: Download stuck at 147mb of 600, so I think the speed dropped to 0 B / S

    Firefox Portable is 114 MB, not 600.
    Code:
    (new-object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadFile("https://portableapps.com/redirect/?a=FirefoxPortable&s=s&d=pa&f=FirefoxPortable_87.0_English.paf.exe","$env:homeDrive$env:homePath\Desktop\FirefoxPortable_87.0_English.paf.exe")

    PowerShell should not have imposed security settings on downloads.

    Here's a question - how much storage space do you have left on your drive?

    As we're getting nowhere fast try using another hard drive to install Windows. Has been known that malware can be incorporated to a drive's firmware. Ridiculous suggestion most probably

    USA also has some problems but there's alternative providers there so easy to find another ISP.
    Depends on where you live. Luckily I have Comcast as a option. If not I would have to use satellite or dial-up.

    @JustSnooze

    I've gone through this thread, and you've got some pretty powerful gurus trying to help you. My understanding is that your router, modem, & extender may be on different floors. If they're all on the same floor:

    One thing I haven't seen suggested, and may or may not work, is to bypass the router and extender completely and only use the modem.

    If this should "possibly" work, then there could be something wrong in the router and/or extender setup on the computer that's misbehaving, since you can download fine with different devices.

    I tried to download the same file on my pc with my Mobile Hotspot and it works. One person, with the same problem, suggested me to call my ISP and request a Public IP and remove the CGNAT.

    Something is still not clear to me. You said in your first posts that you can't download from some sites. Or from all sites? One of problematic downloads is from mediafire, or the other from similar sites?
