I want to thank you all that assisted me on fixing my mother's Acer desktop that we bought in 2013 or 2014.

After many steps of troubleshooting, finding no updated network adapter driver software because of the computer being no longer in support by Acer, and the issue not being resolved, I decided to sell the Acer and in turn I purchased my mother a new HP (Hewlett-Packard) Desktop that came out last year (2020). It should be delivered this Monday.

Her new computer (The HP Desktop) is similar to mine but newer. I will post a link of the computer in the thread below from HP.
