Using laptop as second screen for pc. Projection is not supported

    Hello,

I'm trying to use my laptop as a second screen for my desktop. However, there's a message in the settings for projection: "This device does not support wireless projection.... "
There's no wireless adapter in my pc so I think that might be the issue here?

    I was wondering if a wireless adapter enables projecting.Something like this: Asus USB-AC53 Nano AC1200 Dual-band USB Wi-Fi Adapter - Newegg.com

Also, dxdiag says: Miracast: Available, no HDCP

GPU of the pc: GTX 560 SE

    Thank you

Thanks. Unfortunately it didn't help. After I press Windows+P I get the sidebar but not the option "Connect to a wireless display".

The laptop and pc are both windows 10 fully updated. Another laptop with windows 10 can project to this laptop and vice versa. The PC just won't do it.

I tried using a bluetooth device. The device itself worked, I had bluetooth on my computer. Unfortunately, it didn't enable the wireless display and the computer still said there's no support for a wireless display

I not sure what else as I can’t try it myself as my desktop doesn’t have WiFi or Bluetooth. Why not just hook another screen to the desktop?
not sure if something like these will help and if you have a spot for it. Amazon.com
