Can I upload files to Onedrive then download them on another computer.

Hi, I've recently bought a new Asus Sonic Master laptop Windows 10 home 2004 version and want to copy across some photos, short video clips and a few document folders. I read that you could do this by uploading them to onedrive. My old HP laptop (windows 10) appeared to do this but when I opened up my onedrive on onedrive.com all the folders are there but there is nothing in them. This also concerns me if I cannot access my laptop at any time, aren't I supposed to be able to find my files on onedrive.com?
Thanks for any advice for an old lady who can no longer keep up with the technology!

Is it possible, that you have used another/new Microsoft account on your new computer?

Yes, I overlooked that. In that case, the problem might be with the browser itself, blocked scripts or etc.
Considering the specs, onedrive might have been accessed via the old Edge or possibly even IE?

Download the latest Microsoft Edge or Chrome browser, setup and try to access it via there.

If you sign in with the same account on onedrive it will sync with as many computers as you like. When its synced you will see a cloud icon next to them showings its in the cloud as soon as you open them it will download

Thanks for your help everyone, I really appreciate it. In the end I realised that my photo file was too big for the 5GB storage limit of One Drive. I ended up using a memory stick instead.
    Keep safe and well!
