After Update, can no longer stream videos to my living room

Hi. I have a Dune media player for watching videos kept on my Win10 PC. I use the UPnP method. On the PC, I've added my folder of videos to 'Libraries'. A Windows Update has just happened and now I can't see my videos. I can't prove it but I'm blaming the Update.

On my Dune, I select UPnP and I can navigate to the exact folder where the videos are i.e. the precise folder name appears on my TV. Yet, when I hit 'select' I'm faced with an 'empty' message. It makes no sense to me that the Dune can see the folder but not access it.

On the PC, everything in 'media streaming options' is 'Allowed' and in 'Turn Windows Features On or Off' the two SMB options are fully ticked. Via gpedit.msc – Computer config\admin templates\network\Lanman Workstation: 'Enable insecure guest logons' is Enabled.

I can't think what else to try. If you have any suggestions, I'd be extremely grateful. (Winver 1909)

Hi Samuria. I can sit at my PC and interact with the Dune no problem. Can you expand on 'check permissions'? Thank you.

I've given up on the UPnP method - Windows Update has clearly done something to scupper it. I've instead given the PC and the Dune a static IP and created a Network Folder on the Dune. It works well. Feel free to delete this wee thread.
