    Ethernet down, wifi works?...


    My provider is down, confirmed by coworker and voice message at provider although details not specified. Can someone explain to me why i can access web and messenger apps with wifi but not ethernet on same home network? Is this just a protocol issue. If it was just Dns for example, wouldn't skype or messengers work with ethernet. Wifi full functionality including communication with desktop. Ethernet no internet for any application
