Wifi doesn't show Home's wifi but show neighbouring wifi(s)
Hi, it's been quite some time since i came here for help. But behold Microsoft didn't kept me long.
So it's been 3 days since i'm experiencing this on my HP Laptop running Windows 10 20H2 build 19082.645.
But 3 days ago i was running version 1909, and this problem was also persisting on the version too. The problem is that my Laptop doesn't even show my Home's own wifi but shows and can connect to Neighboring wifi(s) and can connect to my Smartphone's hotspot as well. But this problem starting appearing 3 days ago, so i started googling and encountered several threads which date back to 2011 with people running windows 7. Some threads says that it's got to do with the "WAN Miniports" which causes confusion in the windows process to identify the known wifi network, Those threads said i need to disable and then remove them with some "netsh" commands via Command-prompt and i did that as well but no avail.. while some suggests that it's got to do with Modem's Channel settings where some Models can't connect to Channel above 6 or so, did that aswell but nope.
I updated to version 20H2 yesterday, and it fixed the problem my Laptop was able to connect to my Wifi network and i also tried it out by restarting my Laptop a couple of time and it seemed the update fixed the problem but nope today it went the same.
So my last hope is you guys here. Hope i didn't make this a spaghetti post. If i need to post more info then please let me know. I'll check this thread back in a while. Thank you :)
