    when i uninstall my internet adapters am i supposed to check remove drivers also
    before rebooting?

    I would , when you reboot any adapters will be found and drivers installed.
    Non connected ones will be gone.

    If wifi click on the network icon on your task bar then right click on the connection and choose forget
