Ethernet adapter network connection lost -Autoconfigured route limit h

    windows 10 Ver 2004
Frequently getting the event 4205 Autoconfigured route limit has been reached. No further autoconfigured routes will be added until the interface is reconnected.
which results in loss of internet connection. Have to reset the ethernet adapter to overcome the issue.

Actions so far (which haven't helped):-
    wifi adapter disabled
Updated realtek driver to latest - 10.43.723.2020
set power management to allow computer to turn off device AND allow this device to wake the computer
    disabled fast start
Disabled realtime features of MALWAREBYTES as these seem to causing BSODs when running with NORTON

What causes the event 4205 and how can I prevent these?

    TIA

Should have added to actions that I've run the following and restarted the PC
    netsh winsock reset catalog
    netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

Run the following commands and post the results -

If the issue is happening on IPv4 -

    netsh interface ipv4 show route

    netsh interface ipv4 show neighbors

    If it's IPv6 -

    netsh interface ipv6 show route

    netsh interface ipv6 show neighbors

    Hello @agvodz,

If you don't use IPv6, turn it off and see if that resolves the error.

This information might also be useful => IPv6 test - Statistics for United Kingdom

    I hope this helps.
