Network access problem after router change
Just switched from Virgin Media to BT and all is well apart from a problem with my home network, consisting of a desktop, a laptop, and a NAS. Desktop and laptop are both running Win 10.2004. The problem seems to be with name resolution when laptop tries to access shares on desktop and fails with Network Path Not Found. However access is fine by IP. Desktop can access laptop and NAS by name or IP. Turning firewalls off doesn't change anything.
The main issue for me is the laptop needs to map network drives on the desktop but this isn't possible until a solution is found.
Here's the IP configuration for each machine, desktop first -

Have realised I can map network drives using \\192.168.1.XX\Shared Folder name so immediate problem resolved. I would still like to do it by names though so I can expand Computer Name in Explorer\Network
