Wifi Connected Can Access Internet but Network Computers Can't Reach I

I am using Windows 10 Home ver. 2004

I have a laptop that attaches to my WiFi network as it should. It has a full signal strength WiFi connection and can browse the Internet with no problems.

The problem is my other computers on the network cannot see it. When I try, I get a Error dialog box. I will attach a screenshot of it so you can see exactly what I see.

When I get this error I go to that computer and run Microsoft's network diagnostics. I choose WiFi as what I want it to repair. The WiFi in the systray disappears momentarily and then reappears. I rush back to my main computer and can then open a mapped shortcut to the laptop. I shrink that Windows File Explorer incident to the taskbar and keep it open all day. In doing this I have no more problems reaching the laptop the rest of the day. I have to do this every day.

I have a great mesh WiFi and, as mentioned, full strength WiFi signal on this laptop. What can I do to fix this problem so I don't have to run diagnostics every day?

I can access it by name and by IP address. Don't know about the rest of your questions. Not sure what IP rgwn is or how to find out if netbios is loaded. What I do know is there is nothing slow about the WiFi connection. It accesses the Internet very quickly. Also, I have done a little more experimenting and believe it has something to do with either how the WiFi connects to the network or because on both machines I have that uses WiFi connections, they are running Win. 10 Home ver. 2004. Also I do know that this is a relatively new problem. By that I mean since my computers installed September's MS updates for version 1909. That is about the time this happened but that is also the time a Malawarebyes update messed up the network computers and stopped them from showing up in Windows File Explorer. I also then updated Windows to version 2004 and the problem remained and is still there.

I further experimented by shutting down Malawarebytes but that did no good.

ipconfig /all

it will say if netbios is loaded NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled

Its that which resolves the names

The error I get isn't on the machine I am trying to contact, it is on the machine I am using to get to that other computer. I have tried to have that error analyzed or fixed by clicking on that option and it does nothing to help. When I get that error dialog box again I will take a screenshot and post it here. Got to thinking you may want me to try the Diagnose button so I did and attached are the screenshots of it. The first one is the next dialog box that comes up and the next one is the last diagnose box appearing before closing it.

I am going to post trying to make things a bit clearer and hopefully be better understood.

I have a Windows 10 Home version 20H2 laptop connected by WiFi. It has a maximum strength signal when connected. It always can access the Internet. However, if I do not open a mapped shortcut to it immediately after if boots up, I can no longer access it on my network yet it still accesses the Internet so it has not lost WiFi connection.

This problem, I am almost certain, started when I updated this computer with Microsoft’s September updates. At that time, it was using Windows 10 Home version 1909. I then updated all my computers to Windows 10 version 2004. When I TRIED to get help from Microsoft they insisted I update this laptop to version 20H2 to correct this problem. So, I did and the problem followed it to this version also. Microsoft has scheduled 2 callbacks to me but never followed through on any of them. So, I am seeking help elsewhere. Just so no one gets upset, I may make this same post at other sites as well as here.

I am going to attach 3 attachments to better illustrate what I am seeing and experimenting with.

Mapped ComputerName is a shortcut using the computers name to access it. It fails now but until a few weeks ago it always worked.

Mapped IP is a shortcut using the laptop’s IP address it always works.

I did a ping to see if that could reach the laptop when the MappedComputerName fails and it was fine. You will see that in the attachment named ping.

Any thoughts on what is wrong and how to fix it?

Sorry that I must admit I really have no idea what you're telling me. I clicked the link and I didn't see anything that stood out as to what I should run. Am I supposed to run NetBScanner? Do I have to find out all the other computers' IP address and start with the first and then specify the last as in this example - NetBScanner.exe /scan /IPAddressFrom 192.168.1.0 /IPAddressTo 192.168.1.254 ?

Thank you. Here is the latest. I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Microsoft's second tier support yesterday. He found no solution so he created log files, copied them, and is forwarding them to the third tier support team. I am supposed to get a phone call from them today. So I sure hope that happens.
