Should I run SMB1
In order to share access to files on a private network I enabled SMB1 now I am being warned that running SMB1 will make my system vulnerable to spyware. Should I run SMB1?

There is very little risk to running SMB1 on a private network behind a router with NAT translation.
Simple answer disable it does verything work ok then leave it disabled does nothing work enable it
With SMB1 enabled file sharing works - without it file sharing doesn't work. I will leave it enabled and try to stop my repair tool from disabling it
KCav45, this seems to be the same problem with me. When I connect to RDP or print out things, it always ends up failing.
Restarting the router and modem helps for a bit, then fails again. There is a known issue with SMB with FileSharing.
