Lost Ethernet Connection with Windows October 2020 Update
I just installed the October Update and the Ethernet connect is lost. Basically when I go to open the browser, I lose connection, actually the router (Nighthawk X10 AD7200 Smart WiFi Router) just reboots over and over.
At the same time, when the browser is open and I get the message "Your connection was interrupted" , I run the Windows Network Diagnostics I get the follow results.
System Specs
Alienware Area-51 R5 PC
Nighthawk X10 AD7200 Smart WiFi Router
Killer E2500 Gigabit Ethernet Controller
Here is what I've done to date:
1. Went to Dell download latest drivers, no change
2. Searched the Diagnostics error and tried those fixes
3. If I pull the Ethernet line and run on WiFi, No Problem.
4. Uninstalled the update, and the problem went AWAY!
It seems like a problem with the update, especially when I uninstall the update the problem doesn't exist but who knows.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
