Annoying Mobile Hotspot bug makes it turn off

Hi, I use a lot the Mobile Hotspot function in my desktop, but there's a really annoying bug that makes it turn off after a few minutes ONLY the first time you turn it on in a session.

This has nothing to do with power saving settings or auto turn off, or my specific PC, since I've tried most tutorials out there and still happens, with all of my PCs/laptops. The process is this one:

    1. I turn on my desktop/laptop
    2. I turn on the Mobile Hotspot using the sidebar action center
    3. My smartphone successfully connects and everything works fine
    4. After 2-3 minutes, the Mobile Hotspot turns off
    5. I turn it on again and after this second start it works as it should
    6. It stays turned on forever, hours, days, no devices connected, as long as I don't restart or turn off the PC, it will stay on.

It's been like this for years and update after update, Microsoft still does not fix it once and for all. What can we do?

I can NOT believe Microsoft finally fixed this annoying issue... after years and years of having to turn on hotspot twice every single day, it looks like Microsoft in the last few updates (October-November 2022) finally addressed this freaking bug and make hotspot stay turned on forever, no more sudden turn offs!!!

I am 1000% sure, my piccolo!

I've been using the WiFi hotspot every day since I said that and never ever turned off again after a few minutes, as it always did every single time. I can't help you identify the exact update, but I'm pretty sure it was released in Oct/Nov, at least to my PC.

Seriously after more than 8 years bearing this annoying issue, I can't believe Microsoft addressed it.
