How To Put a Computer Back On The Lan After Some Windows Error?

I was trying to see the pictures folder across the lan and tried to set 'sharing ' on the 'users' folder and it took forever and locked up the machine so I had to crash it.

Now the machine is up again but machines across the lan report that it is not responding. Cannot be seen. Cannot be contacted. Network troubleshooter says that.

So is there any way to 'reset' whatever is needed to get a machine seeable again?

On Windows 10, you can also use the "Network reset" feature to fix Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity problems after installing an update or at any time that you can't connect to the network.

To reset the network adapters on your device, use these steps:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click on Network & Internet.
    3. Click on Status.
    4. Under the "Change your network settings" section, click the Network reset option.
    5. Click the Reset now button.
