    Problems streaming video

I am having problems streaming TV on my self built PC. I have 400Mb download speeds and I have a laptop that has no problems streaming. Trying to figure out what is causing the bottleneck. I have a wired connection to the PC.

    Specs:
    CPU: AMD FX 8120
    MOBO: ASRock 990FX Extreme 3
    RAM: Kingston DDR3 8GB
    VIDEO: Radeon HD 6750 1GB GDDR5
    Monitor: Asus 24" 1080p

Video stops and buffers, will do this then go back to streaming, does this every few minutes or so when streaming through spectrum tv using any browser.

I read that the graphics card should have a minimum of 2GB to stream in 1080p, could this be the problem. Also I have updated the video drivers, didn't help. How do I update codecs?
