Stuck on trying to see my shared files in Network

My Desktop PC is called "OURDESKTOP". foldername is a shared folder.

If I "Run" \\OURDESKTOP\folder name the folder is opened in Windows explorer under "Network" and I see the shared files that are in that folder.

If I open "Network" in Windows explorer, I see my smart TV's but not my shared folder.

There seem to be two different "Networks" in Windows explorer. How do I get to the one I want, the one with the shared folder without having to use the Run command?

Type the following, replacing Z: with drive letter you want to assign to the shared resource:

    Code:
    net use Z: \\computer_name\share_name /PERSISTENT:YES

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't look at all familiar so I looked around some more and found what I was missing. I forgot to do the "Add a network location" steps. Now it appears under Network.
