    Credentials i win 10

I have had a media player connected (lan ) for some time now. My isp had to change out the router under a repair, but now, to access the media player i get the message below coming up. What are they after; what username and password. Don't recall entering them before.

    Thanks for any input.

    Hi.

    Is SATURN your media player?

Is your media player running Windows?

If so what was the name of the user you set up on media player for yourself and what password is associated with this ID.

That is what it is asking for.

Solved the issue last night; player has it's own operating system which is not Win 10. Didn't really know what it wanted ( network ) but decided it could be something simple like my Microsoft username and password.; same as I use to log onto Desktop. So I entered it as shown above and got to where I can see the onboard WD 4T drive. To open the drive I had to enter the same thing again making sure in both instances that I checked " REMEMBER MY CREDENTIALS.
So thanks for input anyway. Next is to get Laptop and Desktop to talk to each other.

    Cool.

Ensure SMB1 is enabled on both devices. If it was working I found that by doing a network reset on each device communication will be re-established. Network reset may cause the need to reconfigure VPN or other installed specialty software.
