Square icon overlay on wifi icon (After upgrading to Windows 10 2004)

Hello, I just updated my machine to Windows 10 2004, but after I updated it, my wifi icon have this square overlay on them (see attached file). I run sfc and dism commands but the issue still remain,I also tried to rebuild the icon cache still the issue remains. Can someone help me to fix this problem, this problem doesn't exist when I'm in 1909 build. Thanks in advance.

Note that new quirks/bugs are being discovered with 2004 which I believe is not longer offered by automatic Windows Update. How did you update to 2004? Did you manually update or manually scan ('seek') for it?

By default you have 10 days to 'Go back to the previous build'- that can be extended.

You may prefer to do so.

I'm currently on 2004 which was clean installed last month and I don't see this issue with the WiFi Overlays.

Worth noting as I can see some possible confusion. If this overlay issue is due to a corrupt Segoe UI Font as the above posts suggests via this link below for Windows 8 or 8.1, my version of the Segoe UI Font from a clean install of 2004 shows it's v.5.62 on both my platforms, where as the article below suggests it should be otherwise:

It must be version 5.90 (in Windows 8) or version 6.09 (in Windows 8.1) .

Hello, the Segoe UI fix doesn't fix the issue. However, I solved the problem by creating another local account and migrating my files to it. I don't know what happen since I don't have that many programs installed, but atleast it's a working fix. Thank you for answering.

The problematic font is not Segoe UI Regular. It is Segoe MDL2 Assets.
You have to copy and install it from another win 10 PC running on ver. 2004 or 1909.

    Or
please use below link to download and install original Segoe MDL2 Assets.
