Gigabit Internet over 802.11AC Wifi and Windows 10
Hello...because it was only $10/month to upgrade from 300Mbps to Gigabit, I opted in. However, the max DL speed I can get over Wi-fi is ~330 Mbps. I have a Linksys EA9500 router (rated at 5400Mbps) and a 3 x 3 Asus PCIE card in my PC. The link speed is rated at the full 1.3 Gbps (per Network and Sharing Center). I believe that the only way to get true Gigabit speed is probably over wired but are there any Windows 10 settings or other settings to boost it higher? Since I'm not getting full speed on single client I guess the other benefit of Gigabit is I could run (3) clients simultaneously at high speed?
