. In my search some user have said that the option to use the wireless network in safe mode was removed in newer versions of Windows 10.

    Correct.
    - in which build did this occur?

I have 1903, on a laptop as you can see from my specs. Safe Mode with Neworking (Wi-Fi) works, but there are a couple of steps to get it working. It's possible using an adapter on a desktop is a different matter, I suppose.

This is what I see- your experience may differ.

Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...-safe-mode-initial-log-.png
    Initial log-on - no connection.
Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...-safe-mode-double-click-networking-icon.png
Double click Network icon shows available connections.
Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...-safe-mode-click-connect.png
    Click Connect
Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...-safe-mode-connected.png
    Connected
Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...-safe-mode-device-manager.png
    Device Manager- driver.

I'm not sure what build they made the change in . I have tried every suggestion I found and nothing worked. When in Safe Mode my wireless network doesn't even show up so I can't choose it as a option.

Edit: I just tried booting into Safe Mode. The network icon had a X in it. When I clicked on it the only option was Airplane Mode.

    Back onto my topic...

Last three days I've had an error with Intel Pro/Set wireless zero configure service.

I found a thread that indicated that uninstalling and reinstalling fixed that. So, I have done that. I have no idea if it's related to my problem or not.

I'm going to watch for another failure on that, and watch for the black screen. If it continues, I'm going to hook the laptop up to wired network, and disable the WiFi and see if it still happens.
I never used the Intel Pro/Set wireless zero configure service so I don't have any idea of what to check. I do hope the reinstall fixes your problem.

Same here. I even put a picture of it I took with my phone earlier in the thread.

I did just go in and check the drivers as dalchina had suggested after that post, and I find the drivers disabled:

Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...-device-mgr.jpg

Also, my BT mouse does not work in safe mode.

I just opened the laptop a bit ago, and it was in the running/black screen, no response mode. After hard rebooting, I checked the reliability monitor, and no errors other than the fact it was abnormally shut down. Also, no Windows Updates ran to cause it. I checked the task history, and no tasks ran after 7:00 p.m. last night.

I may try plugging it to wire instead of wireless and see if it changes morning problems. At this stage, I'm not hopeful it will. Having the black screen and no evidence anything even ran to cause it.

This is a real strange problem.

Took a while to get there, but ... no driver loaded, no connection.

Well, actually it's saying 'can't initialise' it. Which implies it's present, but can't be loaded.
Fix: Windows Cannot Initialize the Device Driver for this Hardware (Code 37) - Appuals.com

    - and some research may be needed as this is occurring in Safe Mode.

It will not work with newer versions of Windows 10. I have tried with my desktop and different Insider Builds and I tried this morning with my laptop running 2004. I tried using Device Manager to enable the driver and get the error that 56Kruiser posted. I tried running services.msc to start WLAN and Windows says something about not available in Safe Mode. I forget the actual wording.

Do you see the same Code 37 indication?

Would be interesting to find a statement by MS on this..

    Nothing here:

It's a classic IT support technician's nightmare. Works for one person, not another. Too many variables: computer brand, software installed, drivers updated or not etc.

Has nothing to do with customizations or configurations.

On two systems I've checked here with 1909 18363.904, WiFi with Safe Mode for Networking are not available.
