I've already sat on the phone with the ISP and they are unwilling to help which is why I've researched the issue on my own. Again, there shouldn't be any issue because both the router and my network adapter are CAT5e and my cable is CAT6, which leads me to believe that Windows is messing something up internally. I will try with another OS/different hardware when I have the time but it's just very bizarre that it worked up until I restarted.

Do you have one to test with?

The cable I'm using right now is a CAT6 one, I don't have any other CAT6 cable in my home.

Honestly, I'm just thinking of running and buying a new cable later today because it's my prime suspect at the moment, even though it shouldn't be an issue. There's literally nothing else that can be wrong.

No, not at the moment unfortunately. If I did have one, troubleshooting would be a lot easier.
