Did the ISP provide your router?
If yes, I would contact them.

Wired vs. Wireless = different methodologies.

I've already sat on the phone with the ISP and they are unwilling to help which is why I've researched the issue on my own. Again, there shouldn't be any issue because both the router and my network adapter are CAT5e and my cable is CAT6, which leads me to believe that Windows is messing something up internally. I will try with another OS/different hardware when I have the time but it's just very bizarre that it worked up until I restarted.

Again, the NIC has to show 1000 Mbps. No cable attached.

Disconnect your ethernet cable and repeat Post #6.
The NIC needs to show 1000 Mbps.

    Code:
    name LinkSpeed fullduplex
    ---- --------- ----------
    Ethernet 0 bps

Yes, this is normal. You need a loopback connector. My bad.
Go with the Cat 6 cable.

Do you have one to test with - computer to router?

The cable I'm using right now is a CAT6 one, I don't have any other CAT6 cable in my home.

I see. It could be the cable, yet I doubt it.
Main thing is that computer and router are both in complete sync.

Too bad your ISP can't work with you.

Honestly, I'm just thinking of running and buying a new cable later today because it's my prime suspect at the moment, even though it shouldn't be an issue. There's literally nothing else that can be wrong.

    One idea...

Do you have another W10 computer with a native 1 Gbps LAN port to test with?

No, not at the moment unfortunately. If I did have one, troubleshooting would be a lot easier.

    Oh, yes! Lol.

Please post back when you get that new cable.
Wish that I can help you more at the moment.
