Is my Admin user account "Shared"? Or Not? With Whom?

When I go to PC\Local Disk (C:)\USERS\Admin\Properties\Sharing tab,
in the "Network File and Folder Sharing" box, there is a folder icon named, "admin Shared"
(Network Path: \\Dell\Users\admin)
Below that is a "SHARE" button.
If "admin" is "Shared", why is there a "Share" button below it, instead of a "UNSHARE" button (or something similar, which would seem logical)?

If, indeed, my "admin" user account is "Shared", with whom is it shared, and how do I find out?

If I don't want my "admin" user account shared, how do I UNSHARE it?

You have misunderstood what "sharing" means, in short if you don't have 2 or more PC's connected this function is not useful to you

If there's a network location assigned to the folder then, yes, it is being shared. I would be asking myself why it is being shared in the first place, and like you said yourself, who is it being shared with. It's weird that the most important account on the system is being shared, especially when the most important account holds the keys to the system and therefore often the first account to be compromised that holds any control/power.

Do you share your computer with anyone else?
To stop sharing the folder just go to it's location and right-click and then press 'Properties' and then find the 'Sharing' tab followed by 'Advanced Sharing...' and then press untick the box where it says "Share this folder". Also disable the same for guest accounts as you don't want people not having to authenticate to access whatever is on the network. You can also turn off 'Network Discovery' which basically means your computer won't publicly announce itself on the network and be visible to other computers/devices.
Also go to 'Network and Sharing Center' and make sure you have "File and Printer Sharing" disabled. This feature is only useful when you are on a network where computers/devices/etc should be talking to one another such as when printing files and the file to be printed gets sent on the network to the local printer, or when you want to share files/folders over the network with another computer.

This should be a quick fix to this issue.

As described earlier, In Admin, it shows up as "Shared" with a "Share" button, even with Advanced Sharing's "Share this folder" tick box UNchecked. (see attached)

Makes no sense to me.

Also, I have one PC and two Macs networked, and use WORKGROUP to move and edit files across various platforms. But I don't need to share my PC's "admin" folder.
