    Can't Map a Network Drive

I have followed instructions on setting up a network drive but I am not able to select a folder. I have network and file sharing turned on.

Windows version 1909 (OS Build 18363.900)

Welcome to the forum. Have you right clicked on the folder you want to share and created a share giving everyone rights? Then you connect via \\pcname\sharename

    Welcome to Ten Forums @rothamar

Samuria is correct. The PC you are trying to connect to doesn't appear to have any shares available. You need to go to that PC and share a folder on it before you can map a drive to it from this PC.

Well that solves that problem. However, I can't access it from another computer on the network. It's saying I don't have permission but the security setting on the shared drive gives full access to Everyone.

On both systems, Control Panel, Programs and Features, Turn Windows features on or off.
Scroll down to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Check Client and Server.
Click OK and let it update then restart.

    See if that helps.

That seemed to help some. Now, if I am on my desktop I can access files from my laptop. However, I'm still getting permission errors if I try to access the desktop with the laptop.

You have set the share to everyone but then you may need to set NTFS permissions on the folder some folders have special permission like anything in a users profile
