I'm not 100% sure, but if there is no IPv6 connectivity, open adapter properties in
control panel -> network and sharing center -> change adapter properties
right click your adapter -> properties -> IPv6
set preferred DNS to:
::1
set IP address to automatic assignment
check validate settings on exit checkbox, click OK,OK...
Alternatively uncheck IPv6 all together in adapter properties window.
Disable/re-enable adapter after applying these settings (right click adapter)
If you have a firewall built in to your AV, you may have to go into the firewall configuration settings and "whitelist" your router's ip address.

Thank you both. I will just chalk it up to Windows 10 because my iPad works just fine in accessing the router. I did whitelist Firefox and the IP in my AV and it still doesn’t seem to want to work. There is some setting that is blocking the laptop from accessing the router. This only happened when my ISP changed routers. My last router I could access with my same laptop on my same AV and everything was fine. Maybe I’ll ask for that router back. They say this one is the best but if I can’t access the router then I have no idea what else to do. I’ll just access through the iPad and not worry about accessing it through the laptop.
