No network after ugrade from 1809 to 1903/1909/2004

    Hello,

Currently on 1809, Windows Update keeps pushing me to upgrade since a few weeks.
I let it install v1903 trough Windows Update, also tried 1909 and 2004 using the upgrade tool.
The problem is I don't have any network after upgrading, whatever the version. I always have to roll back to 1809.

Here is what I tried to fix it, rebooting the PC between every step:

    - Run a network troubleshooter.
    - Disable the firewall.
    - Disable/Enable the network device
    - Uninstall/reinstall the network adapter driver in the device manager.
    - Reset the network in Windows options.
    - Reset the network in cmd:
    Code:
    netsh winsock reset
    netsh int ip reset
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
    - Reboot the router.
    - Disable DHCP and attribute a fix IP and DNS.

I precise that I use an ethernet connection.
When I say that I have no network, I can't even access my router interface trough my browser.

So I'm currently on 1809 and have disabled the Windows Update service to prevent the upgrade.

Do you guys have any leads but to do a factory reset or a clean install of a newer version?

    Thank you,
    O.

Hi, could you please complete specs of your PC (click My computers under my post for comparison). There is a tutorial to help with collecting the info etc. (search Tutorials for specification).

In particular, what is the make and model of your PC, about how old is it?

After upgrading, did you notice any missing drivers in Device Manager?

And please post a link to its drivers page. Thanks.

There are various suggestions around on the net as I guess you know..

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

I completed my specs. It's an home-built PC, not from a manufacter.

Here are the drivers (for the LAN I use the driver only, not their network manager).

I didn't notice any missing driver after the upgrade.

As for the links you posted, that is basically the fixes I already tried.
