Could not automatically detect this networks proxy settings(powerline)

Recently whilst I've been gaming, I've been being dropping out of servers suddenly. The first few times I checked my connection I was too late to even see that I had disconnected but then I started to see the globe indicating there is no connection. The connection never drops out for more than 15 seconds, and when troubleshooting is used, it always comes out with the generic, 'Windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings.'.

Now I have seen many different methods to fixing this but they all seemed to be aimed towards wireless connections (I still tried them to no success). I am using the TP-Link AV500 powerline and an ethernet cable running into the computer. The few methods I have seen towards fixing the wired connection problems were not with a powerline, so I was wondering if anybody on here had any experience in this particular area as I find myself depleted of all options.

For the hardware itself, I have only tried replacing the ethernet cable so far.
