    Two little people

Every so often when I'm away from my desktop for a couple hours, I come back I see a image of two little people in the bottom left hand corner of my desktop icons. I've heard it has something to do with sharing. Can some one please give me a permanent fix for this problem. Getting tired of having to always refresh the desktop then it happens again maybe two weeks later. Thanks.

    Hello Ken,

The two little people overlay at the bottom right corner of the icon does indeed indicate the file or folder is being shared.

You can check using any one of the "Stop sharing" options in the tutorial below to stop sharing the files or folders (including contents).

Double check each folder in the path to see if any one of them may be set to share along with its content.

It's not the folders but the shortcut icons. But I have checked the desktop folder and it is not set to share in "Advanced Sharing".

Go ahead and post a screenshot showing this in File Explorer to see if anything may stand out.

I can't right now because they went away when I was doing some troubleshooting. They will be back though. I also got a gray X for a bit. This is driving me crazy.

I'm hoping the screenshot may help to reveal a glitch or something as a cause.

As soon as it does it again Shawn I won't touch a thing but capture a screen shot for you.
