    Internet keeps disconnecting on sleep

    Hi

No matter what I do and define, the internet connection still breaks when the computer gets into sleep mode.

I changed in the power plan settings and even the group policy (see attached). The latter made the power settings to be disabled on "enabled" meaning it recognized this change but still the internet breaks in sleep mode.

    Any idea?

Does your device actually support Modern Standby? (S0 State)

    to a command prompt(admin) or powershell(admin)

    powercfg -a

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...modern-standby

That would be the first place I would look.

    Thanks for the tip.

The following sleep states are available on this system:
    Standby (S3)
    Hibernate
    Hybrid Sleep
    Fast Startup

The following sleep states are not available on this system:
    Standby (S1)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Standby (S2)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

    Standby (S0 Low Power Idle)
The system firmware does not support this standby state.

s0 is not supported but s3 is. Isn't it enough?
    Thanks

Obviously your understanding is better than mine. I did find references to WOL and similar, where did you see the s3 not supporting network enable sleep? Thanks

I didn't but the rest of computer is asleep what would network be talking to.

You wouldn't need wake on lan or magic packet as the device would be ready to go.
