No Swift Pair toggle in bluetooth settings?

I'm running 1909 with a bluetooth dongle and I don't see the option for swift pair in bluetooth settings. The only checkbox I see is the metered connection setting.

Does swift pair also require a supported dongle also, not just the device pairing with it?

    Thanks

Thanks, are there any "known to work" bluetooth adapters? I've tried the ASUS BT400 and Intel 7260 and both doesn't work.

The Intel 7260 is an internal wifi-bluetooth card not an external 'dongle'.

Swift pairing is just a convenience. It's not a massive leap forward and I don't understand why you want to focus on it so I am probably not able to give useful advice on the subject.

To find out if swift pairing is supported for any given bluetooth adapter, whether internal or external, you'd have to look it up on the maker's website and check the specs / ask them about it.

Don't forget that if you are looking for an internal card you'd have to check that it fitted your computer.
    - So check your manual for the type of card that fits.
    - search online for something like replace wifi card in <your computer mdel>
    - You might also, for example, find a user review in Amazon that confirmed somebody else had fitted it to your model.
