    multiple computers 1 network portable apps


    This is just simple curiosity on my part.

    Those of you running several computers off 1 network
    Do you put portable apps on each machine or
    put them on one and run them on the others?

    For instance Wise Disk Cleaner Portable is on my Gateway and I connect my HP
    through my network to my share folder on the Gatewy and run WDC from there .

    I put my portable apps on a NAS drive so I can access from any machine (with a copy on my laptop.for when away from network)

Hello, when i tried 10 (about 6months ago i'd say), what made me go back to 7 was that issue : It wasn't possible to associate (& therefore open) filetype with portables apps. Is that still the case?
