New Windows 10 Install, Now Can't Connect to Wireless Display

First time poster here. . . I have an Asus ZenBook UX305FA laptop that I recently upgraded to Windows 10. Prior to the upgrade, I was able to share my laptop display wirelessly with my Sony TV and Blu-Ray player, using the player's Screen Mirroring function. Since the upgrade, I can still connect the laptop and Blu-Ray player, however, the laptop display is not actually shown on the TV. In other words, both laptop and Blu-Ray player say they are connected, but nothing appears. I called Asus tech support, and they sent me the newest WiFi driver to install, but that didn't make any difference. Suggestions?

Thanks for the reply (and welcome) Ken.

I probably didn't make it clear, but the screen mirroring is entirely through the Sony Blu-Ray player, model BDP-S6200.

I just came across this thread. Sounds like a problem others have experienced, and that I'm probably SOL if I want to keep Windows 10.

Any chance you can download new firmware for Blu-Ray. Maybe Sony applied a fix ... if enough customers / potentially ex customers, chewed on their ear.

Might even explorer if you can get a device like Chromecast ( need to confirm it does what you think ) that would connect to TV and bypass Blu-ray.

Unfortunately, I have the most recent firmware for the player. Of course, when I called Sony to ask about this issue, they didn't mention that anyone else has had a problem.

I actually ordered Chromecast a few days ago. But it still bugs me that something that should work doesn't.
