    Hi there
what version of Windows --- (type Winver and post the screenshot)

latest versions of 1909 - specifically the insider builds have broken Network browsing to non Windows devices FROM windows.

Local / Master browser on a home network doesn't make any difference --it's only "an election" and all it might cause is slightly longer (should be on a small home network) but trivial network browse time.

On your NAS systems if you have a decent console / terminal program -- type systemctl status nmb -l
that should show you if your network is recognised as well which NAS is receiving notifications from other devices on network.

    Cheers

    Problem PC is Win 10 Home v 1909. Other two working PC's: 1st in Win 10 Home v 1909, 2nd is Win 10 Pro v 1909.

Yes, Jack I have checked SMB setting on NAS's, Master Browser, and Discovery Services you mentioned.

But the NAS is not the issue I don't think. Other two PC's connect to them fine. I am down to what is different on Problem PC as opposed to the other two good ones. Don't you agree?

I agree, but - a few more questions:

Can all three of your computers access shares on each other?

Can your problem computer access one of the NAS but not the other or is the problem PC locked out of both NAS?

Problem PC cannot access anything else on network. Other two can access each other and Problem PC. I think it is odd that Problem PC has other devices show up in Explorer, but no access is allowed.

One question - after I did the Reset, none of the updates were yet installed. And it did not work. Does Windows retain the network settings from the old image, before the Reset?

This is the Hail-Mary pass. Go to the Windows Defender Firewall > allowed apps on one of the good computers. Take note of all the apps allowed to pass through the firewall. Then go to the Firewall > allowed apps on the problem computer and compare the allowed apps with those on the good computer.

I don't use Windows Firewall. Use another one. Turned all of them OFF. No change.

If I update to Windows 10 Pro do you think it would make any difference? If I did a clean reinstall of Win 10 Home would that maybe solve it?

From everything that's been done in this thread, you have a good network that functions properly with or without SMBv1 enabled.

From your problem computer, you can nbtstat -a(devicename) and get responses from the other machines.
    All firewalls are disabled.
Your two good computers can access shares on your problem computer, each other, and both NAS devices.

The only issue is that you cannot access any of your other devices from your problem computer - which could be one of two things: (1) your problem computer is sending incorrect requests to the other machines or (2) your problem computer is sending out correct requests but these correct requests are being rejected by all other machines.

Issue number two is highly unlikely since all the other machines communicate well.

I do not know what tools are available to troubleshoot issue number one. So yes, a clean install may be your best hope.

But before you do that, try one more thing.

Go to one of the good computers and create a new folder on the desktop - call it "Nushare". Configure Nushare for file and print sharing and be sure that the folder gives read and write permissions to everyone.

Go to the problem computer and type into file explorer: \\computername\users\username\desktop\Nushare.

If you do not get an error message immediately, wait for a while. If the problem computer can access Nushare it will also access all other shares on the good computer.

I had to do a clean re-install to get it working. Never seen one this difficult before. THANKS EVERYONE for your persistence and efforts!
