Error 1067 launching SSHD; windows powershell doesn't recognize 'sshd'

Windows 10 Home Version 1903... computer specs are in my profile

For a little bit of background...this is the guide I was using: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...stall_firstuse

I installed both the client and the server

They are supposed to launch with start

    I tweaked the firewall

    SSH Authenticator is running

But every time I try to launch sshd, i get an error.

Tried launching it from services and I got error 1067. I tried making a registry backup of 'sshd' and then deleting it and then merging it again, but to no avail. (attached is the exact error i got).

Tried launching it from powershell using 'Start-Service sshd' and then it gave me an error (attached). It showed that it was a "ServiceCommandException" which I think means 'sshd' isnt recognized as a command.
