    Troubleshooting Computer discovery issue

I have a friend (really!) that wants to file share 2 Win10 ver. 1909 computers. Computer A sees Computer B and can/does share folders correctly. But Computer B can not see/connect to Computer A - command : \\computer A fails. I have try many suggestion regarding settings in: services, DNS, ipconfig, Win updates, Network discovery, etc. But I am look for additional troubleshooting tricks to resolve why computer B does not see computer A. We can ping successfully in both directions. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Assuming you don't have special comm software I've resolved a situation like that by reseting the network on both devices.

Start > Settings > Network & internet > scroll down right side > Network Reset

You will lose wifi passwords and may have to reconfigure VPN's.

Thanks - I will have them try that asap. Additional info: The problem PC is connected via WiFi, the other is Ethernet.

By default a lot of wifi routers have a setting user isolation or simliar this is used t stop anyone breaking in the the network seeing other pcs while giving them the interent its often set on by default

Samuria - I will suggest they connect the WiFi PC directly to the Comcast modem/router but not sure they can do that without me making a house call, which of course right now I cannot do. Thank you.

Issue Resolved! The problem was with the Comcast Modem/router. We checked with Comcast to see if the WiFi was being blocked from talking to the LAN. When they checked the modem they said it was stuck in a Demo mode (although access to the internet was working and we rebooted the mode several times). They said they have seen this problem before when the WiFi network name is "Home-nnn, Xfinity or WiFi" - They said they "tweaked" the modem and we changed the network name to something different and now all is working - Files sharing in both directions, WiFi PC to/from LAN PC.
    Thanks for all the suggestions!!
