my son laptiop wifi disconnect after 5 minutes

i dont understand why there are so many WAN miniports

i type "netsh wlan show wlanreport" when both connected and disconnected

also when i click on wifi it shows "connect automatically" uncheck even though i have check it previously

Try setting a fix ip see if it works then take the results of ipconfig add ten to the last ip number set dns to 1.1.1.1 + 1.0.0.1

go to power management tab and uncheck
allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
close and reboot .

it is already uncheck

troubleshoot fix the problem temporarily

the problem occurs again after reboot

i created a batch file and name it yahoo.bat which keeps pinging different websites and bingo the wifi problem went away as long as the batch file is running.
