    That should be fast enough!
I would still try with other devices, operating systems and, additionally, try the Devolos in different sockets. Obviously, if it is totally a Windows issue using different operating systems will tend to confirm this. Are the 1200 wifi units both 2.4 and 5mh? Cannot remember whether you have tried changing those settings?

    Best wishes and fingers crossed.

    It now works

    Hi Mike,
I tried virtually everything that could be changed in my WIFI settings and Devolo settings. Nothing worked.
Then I decided to uninstall my Wireless Network Driver from my Windows 10 laptop and install it again. Did also not work.
Finally, I decided to intall another version of my Wireless Network driver, hand picked from a list available on my laptop. It is not clear to me if this is a newer or an older version. The date is older (2014 vs. 2015) but the version number is newer (11.0 vs. 10.0). Nevertheless, this worked! I have now my WIFI up and running everywhere, also via my Devolo devices. And I can email again via the WIFI of my devolo devices, etc.
Thanks for your help and support.
    Best regards, Richard

    My devolo probably is dead

This morning there was something wrong with my internet provider, i tried restarting everything that has to do with me having an internet connection. I also removed from the plug the devolo wifi repeater, the small square thing with the encryption and wifi buttons on. When i plugged in again, there were no lights no nothing. What is wrong? The main devolo is fine, but the light now its red because it doesnt have connection. But the small one, nothing seems to be working. I tried pressing the small button inside the very small hole to factory reset it, nothing again. What shall i do? =/

Hi I have a Devolo Duo 500 system and I have enabled it in clone mode to my router. I also have a TP link wifi extender. The Devolo system says that it is working but if I try using the wifi on my ipad then I can only access Google. If i try to go to any site then I get a message that the server cannot be found.

it all works fine on the TP link and on my main computers win 10, win 7 and win XP. But they are all on a LAN.

Any ideas I need the Devolo system to connect several cameras.

    Regards
    Nick

    Hi Nick,
Not at all sure BUT had trouble accessing my own server at home over the internet - just checking all OK before going away.
Eventually I discovered whilst it would not work on IE it was fine in Firefox and Chrome. I am not expert regarding your particular question but wonder if you have some kind of loop NAT issue. Also you do not need to clone your Devolo wifi to your router. You can run all your wireless plugs as separate entities so long as you have one Devolo connected by cable to your router. You may wish to reset all to manufacturer's defaults including the wifi settings through Cockpit using the popup web pages that arise from clicking the top right hand side pop out menu squares,

    Devolo dlan500

    Mike
Thank you that will be the way to go. I had a working system and then a lightning strike close to the house took out various pieces of electrical kit. I thought that was a reason my origional Devolo stopped working but the replacements had this problem.
I will try out the individual id route and let you know.
    Best Regards

    Hey Mike,

Ive recently got the develo dlan 200 av and plugged it in Sunday night where it worked perfectly. Now the connection is no longer available or working on my phone and laptop. The wifi icon on the one unit is no longer green but the top two icons are. On the unit plugged into the router all three icons are lit in green. Ive tried syncing from s youtube video and clicking re set button but nothing at all works, it just stays like the above.

Its really frustrating as i have rubbish internet in my room and yesterday it worked brilliant. Is there anything I can do?

Presumably the unit not working is the 200N wifi? If the house shaped icons are green on all plugs they are probably talking to each other.

May just be your wifi Devolo has wifi turned off - there is a button on the front to turn on! (It may be open or passworded 16 letters on plug back no hyphens) Otherwise....

Download cockpit software direct from Devolo and run on a pc/laptop connected to one of your Devolos by cable. This will give you a picture of the Devolos on your system. If one plug not synched leave buttons alone and go to ADD ADAPTER bottom left of Cockpit and press the enter security details bit in blue writing near bottom of pop up box. Enter non working plug's letter AND hyphens, plug it in first then press ok. Will show in Cockpit after 30 secs.

In extremis you can send them to me to sort for a couple of pints of beer if you pay postage both ways.
