    How to backup and restore a VPN connection? With Username & Password?


    How can we backup and restore an existing, working VPN connection? Preferably via command line?
    Is there a way to even include the username and password for such connections?

    I know the tool "dialuppass" from Nirsoft. Unfortunately it doesn't export the actual configuration at the command line (GUI works fine) nor does it create a new VPN entry with the /setpass command line option - or F8/copy, manually opened command line - paste.

    My tests failed on Windows 10 Pro 1909 b18363.720.
