Windows 10 Network Credentials Access Denied to connect to WD NAS

I am using windows 10 Pro x64 Build 1903 and want to use 6TB WD NAS as Map Drive to my Desktop pc.

    i already did the following:
    1. turned off the password protected sharing
    2. uninstall anti virus
    3. turned off firewall
    4. i add the username and passwd in credential manager
i tried like this format \\pcname\username - passwd
    \\<ip address>\username - passwd
    5. check the machine ip address

but none have worked..should i say...DEAD END for me

I know this is kinda old question but is there any way we can just solve the problem with the network credentials using windows 10 x64.. i really need help about this...thanks and advance

This is a problem that quite a few of us are having!..... It is a "dead end"! Some people can get it to work, others, like me cannot

Could be related to the way Windows handles connections for single users. I had the same problem and it was that. Does the error message say something about multiple connections?

I've no idea what xaccell is talking about but that's not it. Anyway I'm running a WD NAS My Cloud Pro (PR4100) and have no access issues as shown in this post/thread - NAS seen as folder not drive. And the only user on my PC is me.

I'll paste this here from your link for you to ponder....

’ Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again
    Peace:)
