Rogue DHCP Server is running in a VM

    Exactly. You have vmware installed on another PC. THis one is picking it up. It doesn´t matter if you have one up and running. It is part of the hypervisor.

    Many thanks for the advice, I think you isolated the problem. I have gone into Network setting on both VMWare machines and disabled the Host-Only adaptors.
    I will renew the dhcp lease on non-static machines to see if they pick up the correct addresses.

    I will close the problem now.
