    Have you tried alternate browser?

    Have you disable all AV's?

I wouldn't open anything without doing a scan after the fact but just to be sure it is not an AV issue.

    Most were normal downloads.
The switch to Chrome was made.
If it worked there was no gibbberish and the downloaded files were readable.

The AV is the default Windows defender.

Today these were the displayed results for new downloads:

I might ask John, seems it is always downloads from us.

When I searched, as I'm sure you did AV's were listed as most likely. Not sure what is setting them off. Can you disable Defender and try.

I've just tried a random selection of downloads and they were all fine to me.

If you have Windows Sandbox enabled try a download in that.

The Sandbox software I'm not familiar with.
    How does that work?

The google fiber network box, range extender were powered off and on.
The computer was shutdown then powered on.
Same problems with failed Network - error.

The latest memory.dmp was 135 MB and failed multiple times.

This was the progress > it just failed again

It's a windows feature that allows you to run an isolated desktop, it's pretty good for testing stuff - Enable or Disable Windows Sandbox in Windows 10

Do you have access to another PC or phone to proof network connectivity? This will resolve if the problem is a result of the network or your PC.

There are options to use multiple computers by ethernet or wireless.
This computer has software that the others do not have for debugging dump files.
So this has been the only computer tested for the specific downloads from Ten Forums.

This thread has memory dump files available for download in posts #39 and #41:
Several BSOD after installing W10 into an Intel SSD M.2 NVME

Today the memory dumps displayed: Failed - Network error when using Chrome

A memory.dmp download was successful using IE.

    It displayed:
