Windows cannot Access \\"Home Network Computer Name"

Help.
I keep getting this message along with; Windows 10 - errror 0x80070035 when I try to access the two laptops on my home network. There are three machines. The two laptops and a desktop. The two laptops can access the desktop, but not vici verca!
I have ahared all Drives and folders, and have set SMB, and all recommended settings in services.smc. All machines have been set the same, but cannot understand why there is only one way access.
All machines running 64Bit Windows 10 Home, version 1903, OS build 18362.592

You say you shared drives and folders did you set share permission and NTFS permission? What drives have you shared as it's very dodgy doing that as malware has free rain

Did you change any services? You shouldn´t need to do anything special, other than making sure the the users on the laptops have permissions to the desktop folders. Are they all in the same workgroup?

Advanced Sharing Settings: All turned on for Network Discovery, File and printer Sharing, Sharing, and Off for Password Protection.
Windows features: elements 2 and 3 of SMB selected.
Services. 2x Function elements; network connections; 3xPeer elements; Up&p element; all running and set to automatic.
Problem. A,B, and C all see each other. B and C can access A. A cannot access B or C.

I suspect it's probably a case of "DHCP lease expiry" etc or some device like a mobile phone or smart TV grabbing an address which is hosing up your network.

Switch EVERYTHING OFF --TV's / Phones (yes if you are under about 27 these things really do have an OFF switch on them !!!!) including the Router . Now wait around 5 mins --- re-start router and then ONE computer -- I'd start with the desktop first as it's the one with the problems.

Now switch on another laptop -- don't switch on the phones / TV's yet. see if laptop and desktop can communicate both ways. If they can then try laptop 2 and check now if all 3 work together. If they do - now switch on phones, TV's etc.

If they don't --- I'm afraid I just give up -- Windows Home edition isn't a very nice one IMO for anything "Networky" -- others may differ but I tend to regard Windows 10 Home as Windows Toy edition. !!!

Jimbo. Thanks for your help. I have upgraded my Desktop to Windows 10 PRO. All OK.
