    Hi zillah

Could you provide a little description as to what you mean by "Windows 10 professional recently updated".

Was this regular monthly patches or a Feature update say 1809 to 1909.

What band are you using on wireless, 2.4 or 5

Are there a lot of other wireless networks in range of yours?

Did you reload the TP driver?

    hello zillah,

I did have the same problem, and tried reinstalling the software. Now it seems to work.

p.s if you lose connection don't rr yr pc, just get yr USB out and re input it.

Hope it will work , let me know.

One other thing I've found works, change into Airplane mode and after a few seconds change back into Wireless mode, see if it reconnects.

2.4 as 5 is not available for this USB adapter

Are there a lot of other wireless networks in range of yours?

Did you reload the TP driver?

Okay download this tool and see what networks overlap your network and how strong they are.

You may need to change the channel your router is using.

    Inssider Free - Windows

    inSSIDer 3.1.2.1 Download - TechSpot

I would also try an older driver for your wireless dongle. One it originally came with. Note level and test. If it starts acting funny again check driver level to see if Windows has updated.
