Cannot find network printer

I just had to do a fresh install of Windows. I have a networked printer, HP LaserJet 1320n, that cannot be found even if I put in the its IP address. What is the best forum to post this?

can you ping it? If so, go to its configuration web page and take a look. If not, either the printer is in a different subnet or the PC is, most likely since you just reinstalled Windows. Check its TCP/IP settings.

What do I ping?. Not sure what you mean by subnet. For what it's worth, the new installation can see my laptop on the network. What is its in the

You ping the IP of the printer. How are you trying to add it from printers or other?
